Lasers are being used nowadays for all sorts of medical purposes, including tattoo removal, surgical incisions, and treating musculoskeletal aches and pains. Different types of lasers produce the different laser-tissue response. I have incorporated Low Level Laser Therapy in my chiropractic treatment plans since I began practicing in 2004.
How it Works
Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT), also known as “Cold Laser” interacts with tissue in a photochemical manner. The laser light is absorbed into the chromophores and precipitates a biological cascade of events that promotes pain relief and inflammation reduction.
Laser Therapy is an effective, painless adjunct to any treatment plan designed to reduce pain, inflammation and to promote accelerated tissue repair.
