To my loyal patients:
Throughout my chiropractic career I have progressively moved away from the short “just spine manipulation” visits to longer, more comprehensive sessions. I was essentially riding the evidence-informed wave by including multiple therapies, education, and exercise tutorials and practice into my patient care visits. Scientific studies continue to show that combining education and exercise with a multi-modal therapy approach has better outcomes in the short and long term for patients.
So, if you’ve been a patient of mine for many years, you’ve likely noticed the shift from the shorter 25-minute visits to 45- and 60-minute visits. I will continue to offer three appointment lengths, but some minor changes are coming, effective March 1, 2025:
Appointment Type | Length Change? | Previous Fee | New Fee |
25-minute |
30-minute* |
$80 |
$90* |
45-minute |
- |
$120 |
$125** |
60-minute |
- |
$160 |
No Change |
Custom Orthotics |
- |
$500 |
$550*** |
* 25-minute visits are changing to 30 minutes, with a modest fee increase from $80 to $90
** 45-minute session fees are increasing from $120 to $125
*** Custom Orthotics fees are increasing from $500 to $550
These fee increases (for the 30 minute and 45-minute sessions) are reluctantly happening after resisting a fee increase for several years while inflation skyrocketed. I hope these modest increases for my shorter visits do not create any hardship. And, if these increases (or fees in general) do create an obstacle to receiving my care, please speak with me directly so we can strategize your care plan.
Yours in health,
Dr. Michael Berenstein
